Tevitta has joined HortiTech Ukraine 2026 – a key event in the agricultural sector

The Tevitta brand has joined one of the most important events in the agricultural sector – HortiTech Ukraine 2026, organised by T&I Media Group. The event took place on 25–27 February in Ternopil and brought together leading experts and practitioners from the horticulture, vegetable growing and berry growing sectors.

Mykola Chornozub represented the company at the event. For the Tevitta brand, such events are an important opportunity to monitor market developments, learn about the latest technologies and exchange experiences with professionals in the agricultural industry.

A powerful platform for industry development
The HortiTech Ukraine 2026 conference brought together around 450 participants from across Ukraine. Among them were representatives of over 150 horticultural and berry farms, production and technology companies, berry freezing and processing enterprises, berry cooperatives, nurseries and specialist organisations.

During the event, 29 speakers addressed the participants – farm managers, agronomists and representatives of technology companies. They shared practical experience of working under martial law, as well as presenting modern solutions and innovations that help the sector develop even in difficult times.

The conference covered three key areas of development in the agricultural sector:
1. Horticulture
2. Vegetable growing
3. Berry growing

Participants discussed modern cultivation technologies, plant nutrition and protection systems, irrigation, sorting, storage and processing of produce. Particular attention was paid to growing crops under cover – various types of greenhouses, high tunnels, as well as frost protection and rain protection systems.

Educational and industry initiatives
The event featured the T&I Berry&Fruit Academy educational platform, which attracted around 100 attendees. Experts shared practical solutions for berry, fruit and vegetable growers, helping participants identify effective business models, reduce margin losses and improve production stability. The conference also featured a technology exhibition attended by around 50 companies, which showcased modern equipment, machinery, tools, plant protection products, fertilisers and processed goods.

Business tour to leading farms
The second day of the programme, 27 February, concluded with a traditional business tour to well-known farms in the Ternopil region – the ‘Gadz’ Farming Enterprise and the ‘Faina Polyana’ Cooperative.
During the tour, participants familiarised themselves with the technologies for growing and processing berries (raspberries, sea buckthorn, garden strawberries, blueberries), fruit crops (apple, pear, plum, peach, nectarine, cherry, sweet cherry, apricot), as well as vegetables – carrots, beetroot and courgettes.

Charity initiative during the conference
At the end of the conference day, a charity auction of goods and services from the event’s partners took place. As a result, over 66,000 hryvnias were raised to purchase a vehicle for an artillery unit carrying out combat missions in the Sumy region.

Industry development – a shared endeavour
The HortiTech Ukraine 2026 conference was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and with the support of the Ternopil Regional Military Administration.

For Tevitta, participation in such industry events is an opportunity to remain at the heart of the professional community, keep abreast of innovations and find new solutions for the development of agribusiness.

We are convinced that even in difficult times, it is extremely important to continue working, developing the sector and supporting the country’s economy. It is precisely through the daily work of agrarians, farms and companies that the foundation for Ukraine’s future recovery and growth is being laid.
